The gift

A gift card that shows how well you know them. You pick the place you know they love. A note, your voice, or a short video goes with the card. The size, the colour, and the moment stay open.

It feels meant for them.

You pick the place you know they love.

Their coffee, the supermarket on the way home, the shop they go to for trainers. The place is how the gift shows you know them.

A note, your voice, or a short video goes with the card.

That is the part that sounds like you. You add it while you set up the gift. After you pay, they receive a link.

Opening the link shows the shop and the amount. The note, and any voice or video, appear with the gift card once they confirm their email.

By email

The written note is in the email, with a button to open the gift. Your voice and video are opened with your gift. They play only after it is opened.

By text

The text stays short. The fuller note, and any voice or video, wait until they open the gift and confirm their email.

A link you share

Nothing arrives until they open the link you send. The message is there once they confirm their email.

A line or two is enough.

Name them, name the shop, and say why that shop. Plain words are often the kindest. If you send by email, the note goes in the email too.

  • Happy birthday. I know you will spend this at Costa before I have had my own coffee. Save me a seat.
  • For the weekly shop, and the biscuits you pretend are for the kids.
  • New trainers. The size that fits can wait.

Your voice

Record on your phone. It plays on the gift page, with the card, after they confirm their email: a toast, a private joke, the reason you picked that shop.

A short video

A clip from the kitchen, the sofa, or outside the shop. Keep it under a minute. Say their name, say the shop, and stop. It plays with the gift, the same way a voice message does.

A note on its own is a complete gift. Add your voice or a short video when you want them to hear you.

Voice and video stay private.

Anyone with the link can see the shop and the amount. They cannot read the note, hear the voice, or play the video until they confirm their email. That confirmation opens the personal part for them.

Voice and video are kept privately in the UK. They are not published, and they are not sold. The recording plays for you, and for the person who has confirmed the gift. One week after they collect it, the recording is removed.

A written note stays with the gift. If you emailed it, that note is also in their inbox. Pass the link to the person you mean to send it to.

The size, the colour, and the moment stay open.

What only they can know stays with them.

Trainers in the size that fits.

The weekly shop, already on their list.

A takeaway on the evening that is free.

The card spends at the shop you chose, online or in store. The particulars stay personal.
